Mixed Berry Shake

1 Cup frozen strawberries

½ cup frozen blueberries

½ cup nonfat plain yogurt

1 scoop vanilla whey protein

1 tbsp honey

1 cup ice

(add  splenda or truvia to sweeten as desired)

Combine all  ingredients  in a blender and blend on Medium-high till smooth.   Add water one tablespoon at  time , just to get blending started.

Chocolate Mint   Shake

½ cup water

1 scoop chocolate flavored whey protein

1/3 cup cottage cheese

1 ½ tsp cocoa

2-3 drops mint extract

5 ice cubes

1 serving greens supplement powder (optional)

25 g pecans

Add all ingredients except pecans to blender and process for one minute.   Add pecans and blend till chopped.   Makes  one shake.


Apricot Yogurt Shake

1 cup non fat plain yogurt

1 scoop vanilla flavored whey protein

1 serving green supplement powder (optional)

10 dried apricot halves

1 tbsp ground flax seeds

1 cup ice

Add everything to blender and process until smooth and creamy.  Makes One  shake.

330 cal, 37 g protein, 4 g fiber,  42  carbs


Peanut Butterscotch Shake

1 scoop chocolate milk whey protein

1/3 cup low –fat cottage cheese

2 tbsp whole flax seeds

1 tbsp natural peanut butter

1 tbsp sugar free instant jell-o butterscotch flavor

Splenda or Stevia to taste

1 cup ice

¼ cup water, as needed

Add all ingredients to blender, and blend until thoroughly mixed. Start minimal water, adding 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.  Makes One shake
